Summer Fun!!

Even with all of this crazy rain we are still enjoying the start to our summer. We have been somewhat busy with t-ball and summer dance stuff. With this abundance of rain we have only got to play 3 of our 5 scheduled games so far, hopefully the weather will be a little more cooperative and we can get a few more in.

Maddy has her required dance classes for Rubies through July so she is enjoying those. These are her first strictly technique classes and she likes them but can't wait to start on her new dances this fall. It's also her first experience with the barre and she like it but it's pretty funny to watch. She also had dance camp this week and had so much fun. It was a lot of dancing and she is all sorts of worn out but it was a really good challenge for her. She got a little frustrated with herself when she felt she was struggling with one of the dances but worked through it and ended up having fun and just trying her best. She's such a little perfectionist at the ripe old of age of six, it's definitely something we need to work on. She was completely delighted to receive the "Gorgeous Grin Award" for smiling and facials when she danced. She worked really hard, had lots of fun, and loved getting to know some new dance friends.

We also had a party for Uncle Ty's birthday last week and the kids loved getting to see Mason and Delila. They were not as excited to see Copper and the puppy terror has returned it full force. They just love their cousins and Greyson is pretty proud of the fact he can say Delila, it's pretty stinkin cute. Greyson is getting so big and he just cracks me up everyday. He says the funniest things like "Hey, what's the big idea" or other funny random things that just keep us laughing. We haven't made it outside or to the park as much as we liked but hopefully that will change with the weather.
