Boo at the Zoo!!

Tonight we made our annual trek to Boo at the Zoo. The kids love the zoo and everything about Halloween so the combination of the two is one of their favorites. They love trick or treating at the zoo and seeing all the animals at the same time. We also love that it stretches out the holiday and we get multiple nights of Halloween fun!! It was a really nice day and not to cold at all unlike some of the other years we have gone. There were lots of little kiddos and I think it gets bigger every year. Greyson was not to fond of his owie (black eye), which I was pretty proud of. I mixed a few eyeshadow samples to create it and one lady even asked if it was real. Greyson has been pretty funny about his costume, we had taught him to "put up his dukes", or "Wanna Box?". Then last night Brandon taught him to say "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" so now he's a little confused what his costume has to do with bugs. Maddy had her heart set on being a fairy and I steered her toward the copper one because I thought it would look good with her coloring. Her favorite part of her costume is her wings, and she likes telling everyone she's one of Tinkerbell's friends. Obviously I'm biased but I think they look adorable!!
