Happy New Year!!

It's hard to believe another year has come and gone. It has been nice to reflect on the past year and the things done and accomplished, and learned. But so much more exciting to continually focus on the future and the growth that I know will come with a new year. I am so incredibly grateful for the blessings in our lives and looking forward to a whole new year of possibilities unfolding before us.
We kicked of the new year at our annual New Year's party at Ryan and Audrey's. We had yummy food, silly games, and entirely too much fun. The kids rang in the New Year with a sleepover with Grandma Cook and Grandpa Lou. They had a blast and of course stayed up way too late. The next night they went to a Rose Bowl party with Grandma Lori and Grandpa Bob and then had another sleepover. They had lots of fun and were completely exhausted when they made it home. We didn't quite know what to do with ourselves with the kiddos gone for so long, but we are so grateful for the wonderful relationships they have with their grandparents and the memories they are making. Friday night we made family night and went to dinner and the movies. The kids always love a night out and we enjoyed the night immensely. We had dinner at Friday's and then went to Madagascar 2. It was not as cute as the first but still pretty funny, however if I have to hear "Move it, Move it" too much more it could be bad.
This week meant back to school and other activities and it's been kind of hard getting back into the swing of things. Maddy was excited to see her friends but also sad to see her Christmas break end. Brandon is continuing to work very hard in the start up of the new business, the progress they are making so quickly is astounding and we are so proud of them. We have also managed to sneak in some time loving on McKade, Maddy is a little better about sharing but not much. Greyson is completely smitten with him and just loves "aKade". We have had a great start to 2009 and can't wait to see what else it brings.

Can't believe it's a new year as well. Time has flown by way too fast. I still think it was just yesterday that Maddy was born. Now she's in Kindergarten. WOW!! The holidays were so much fun. We hope that this new year brings so much joy to everyone. See you all soon!!
