On Tuesday, Maddy was eating an apple, and she came running into the kitchen worried and upset because something was wrong with her tooth. Sure enough the apple had loosened it completely. This was something we had talked about a little bit but were not anticipating quite so soon. She wasn't quite sure what to think, she wanted it out but was not a big fan of the idea of pulling it out or the pain. After much wiggling and a few tears Brandon finally managed to get it out. She started laughing hysterically and for a minute we couldn't tell if she was happy or upset, but she was deliriously happy. Greyson was very confused as to why we were trying to pull out sister's teeth but was all for it when he heard about money under pillows. Maddy was very excited at the prospect of the tooth fairy and went to bed with eager anticipation. It must have been a pretty good tooth because she made bank on her itty bitty little tooth,the going rate for teeth has certainly increased since I was little. She woke up in the middle of the night and had to come show us just what the tooth fairy had left. Greyson was slightly disappointed the tooth fairy skipped over him, but was appeased when I took his picture as well. I can't believe our little munchkin lost her first tooth, she really is growing up.

Oh my gosh, that's a pretty big milestone for Miss Maddy! It's true, they just keep growing up & up. I'm not a fan!
