Fun at the Zoo!!

Tuesday was Jaime's day off so we took the kiddo's to the zoo. We all had lots of fun and loved the whole day. The kids love going to the zoo, Maddy especially likes the fact that most of the animals are contained!! We had a little bit of a scary moment with a wandering peacock but managed to get away unscathed!! Greyson enjoyed making animal sounds and seeing if they would answer back. McKade wasn't terribly interested in the animals but loved hanging out with Maddy and Greyson. The kids made friends with a penguin and I'm pretty sure he wanted to go home with us. He kept following them back and forth and everywhere they went and then he kept jumping up and down to get a better look at them. He was pretty cute but I don't think he would have enjoyed living in the bathtub!! We finished the day with lunch at McDonald's at a trip to the mall. It was a great day.
