First Day of School!!

Last week was back to school and we had one excited 1st grader. She was so excited to get back to school and her friends and to be able to go to school all day. Greyson has been a little sad but is loving doing his own "homework" and working on preschool stuff. Maddy is loving school already and says it's the best and her favorite ever!! She likes eating lunch at school and loves her teacher already. She loved catching up with friends she didn't see all summer and is already making some new ones as well. We're already really impressed with her teacher and the fun ways she is incorporating learning. They got to go on a safari around the school the first day and they had cute little hats and binoculars and Maddy loves telling everybody about it. Surprisingly I'm doing okay with the idea of having a first grader but she is looking awfully grown-up all of a sudden. It's nice getting back into the swing of things and Maddy is looking forward to starting piano again this week and dance the week after.
