Catching Up

So as if last week wasn't difficult enough I was apparently suffering from influenza-b. On Monday Tuesday and Wednesday I was nauseous and throwing up, it wasn't a big deal I just didn't eat and then i didn't throw up. Then on Thursday and Friday I had the worst headache and awful body aches, again nothing I can't deal with I just took 2000mg of Tylenol every 4 hours and it somewhat dulled the pain. Then on Friday night I got a fever of 103 and violent chills, I was seriously shaking like I had hypothermia. It would have been funny if it wasn't 4 in the morning and we had to be up and to a funeral in a few hours. The violent chills only lasted the night but the fever stayed through Monday morning. Brandon and the kids where so good at taking care of me. Maddy was my own personal nurse she kept taking my temperature (mom, it's ten and 3 and 2, is how she let me know what my temp was ) and on the occasions I ventured out from under the covers she followed me around with my sprite. Here are some shots of the kids on one of our pajama days and no the cookie was not for breakfast.

Grandma's viewing was Friday night and her service was Saturday. They where both very nice and Brandon did a very good job speaking on Saturday. It was a difficult day and my heart hurt for Brandon's dad as he was struggling with saying goodbye to his mom. The graveside service and luncheon where also very nice, we didn't stay too long so that I could resume my freezing under a blanket, which is where I stayed until Monday.
Tuesday while Maddy was at preschool Jaime and I went Easter Bunny shopping, and then after I picked Maddy up we went to register her for T-Ball. She is so excited and has been waiting a very long time to play. She keeps trying to guess what color her uniform will be, she doesn't really want to play with boys but we have reminded her some of her best preschool friends are boys and now it's okay. Greyson's new favorite thing to say is No Way. As if hearing your 2 yr old say no isn't bad enough, hearing No Way Mommy is something else entirely. What can I say it's a good thing he is adorable. Tuesday night Maddy had another performance and she always does good, but she totally rocked it last night and she got a lot of compliments on the way out. These weekly performances can get kind of old but they are definitely paying off. So that catches us up, barring any one else coming down with this fun bug, I will be better at keeping up. These are the pictures from last weeks play date (thanks Holly)

Being sick is no fun. I hope you are feeling better. Thank goodness for good kids, and husbands. What would we do without them. Hope the Easter Bunny finds you all this weekend. We sure are looking forward to him at our house. Have a good day. Britt!
