We had a wonderful Easter Weekend. Saturday we went to Ucon for the big Easter egg hunt. They do a great job and the kids had a blast. I have to admit when it comes to hunting Easter eggs my kids are lacking that competitive drive. If there was anyone remotely close to an egg Greyson wouldn't touch it, then when he did pick one up he had to shake it every single time. He did still manage to get some eggs and he won two prizes and of course he picked a car and a baseball. Maddy ran right past "HAPPY EASTER 2008" spelled out in Easter eggs with huge letters and would skip from one egg to another usually with them being 20 feet apart and passing 50 in between. She just knew exactly which eggs she wanted. She also managed to get some eggs and she got some movie passes in hers.
Saturday night we went and ate at Stockman's. It's so yummy, we love it. Maddy always wants to go there she thinks it's her restaurant because it's right by the house. Greyson somehow managed to out eat all of us, our little guy can sure put away the food. After that Grandma Cookie and Grandpa Lou brought the kids over new Easter outfits for church and then Aunt Jam came over and watched Enchanted with us. That movie is adorable and we all loved it. Here are the kids in their Easter Outfits and some from the last couple of years because I like to see how much they change in a year.

Sunday morning when the kids woke up they were very happy to see the Easter Bunny had found them. They had a fun Easter egg hunt and enjoyed seeing all the goodies the Easter bunny had brought. Then we went to church and it was kind of different because we had ward conference so it was weird not to have Easter lessons. In Maddy's class they did talk about Easter and the atonement and resurrection. She drew a picture of Brandon's grandma and told her teacher she would see her again because of Jesus and that she was watching over her. It was one of those moments that I can't help but smile and be proud of our little girl. Sunday after church we went and had Easter Dinner with my side of the family and the kids where thrilled to see their cousins and their bestest friend Andi and to have another Easter egg hunt. Then later that night we went to Brandon's parents for Easter dessert and the kids got another Easter egg hunt and to see their cousin Mason. Grandma Lori and Grandpa Bob just moved into their new house and we are so excited for them. It was nice to be able to get together as a family in their new home. It was a nice weekend full of family and it's always good to take the time and remember the Savior and all he did for us.
