To start out our fantastic Labor Day Weekend we headed to Beaver Dick Park for a little picnic. The kids loved throwing rocks in the water and looking at all the little fish just of the dock. They didn't like it very much when Brandon would shake the dock but loved seeing who could throw rocks the farthest. Brandon tried unsuccessfully to catch some of the little fish with his bare hands, which the kids thought was pretty funny. They were especially excited to get to play with Jaycee and Sicilee. We ate somewhat quickly as we were joined for lunch by a large number of bees, which caused Maddy to eat her lunch in the car. After our hurried lunch the kids had fun playing in the water and on the playground. They love spending time with family and it was great to show them another place we used to go when I was little. It really is amazing all the gorgeous little things and places we have so close for us to enjoy.

We have not been there forever. Maybe we will have to go check it out! Looks like you guys had a great weekend! Don't you just love having long weekends together. We love them!
