End of an Era

Last Sunday was a sad day at our house. The Yankee's played there last game in Yankee Stadium before they tear it down. Being the baseball fanatics we are, we of course are huge supporters of the best baseball team ever, the New York Yankee's. Our dog was named "JETER" and Greyson was going to be "Gehrig" except once we saw him it just didn't fit, so if we ever have another son the chances of him being "Gehrig" are very high. It was pretty emotional seeing all the old timers come back to see the stadium one last time, and see all of the past and present Yankee's struggling to say goodbye. There has been so much history and so may great players and great things happen in that stadium, from Babe Ruth, to Lou Gehrig, Yogi Berra, and today's greats like Jeter, and Rivera. While we will always love our Yankee's and continue to be stalwart supporters when they move across the street to the new stadium, it was still a sad day and we will miss the history and magic that was Yankee Stadium.
