Onstage Dance Classic!!

Saturday was Maddy's first dance competition of the year. She was so excited and has been waiting for weeks. We were at the Civic bright and early that morning. They were adorable as always and I just love watching her perform. In my completely biased opinion she lights up the stage and you can see the joy on her face when she dances. We are so proud of her and the amazing little dancer she is becoming. They received first in their lyrical dance and third in their jazz dance. They were very excited and so proud. They were the youngest group in their category of 6-8 year olds as most of them are just barely six. In their jazz age division there was 8 other teams so they were very proud of the award they came home with. Maddy also did the dance down and made it to the last round of the final five dancers in the 6-8 year category. She had so much fun and loves the challenge of learning a new dance so quickly. There was no flash photography so my pictures are dark and blurry at best. She is a girl after my own heart she loves to stay and watch all of the dances and she had a blast cheering for all of the other teams from her studio. Greyson and Brandon love to watch Maddy but sneak away shortly after. McKade even seemed to enjoy his first dance competition or maybe it was just having Greyson to play with. It was a great day and she is counting the days until her next competition.
