Rockie Mountain Dance Classic and More!!

This week we got to watch McKade again and the kids were super excited. Maddy never wants to go to school on those days and is jealous Greyson gets him all to himself for a few hours. I can't believe how big he is getting already!! Thursday night we celebrated Brandon's birthday by going to dinner at Friday's. It's his favorite and I will agree that their vanilla bean cheesecake is heavenly. I think Brandon had a good birthday despite suffering in pain from kidney stones!! We also had movie night and the kids were very excited to see BOLT. It was a really cute movie and we all enjoyed it. Saturday we spent in Sugar City for another dance competition. Maddy and I went up first thing that morning because she wanted to watch her little friends do their solos. Brandon and Greyson made it just in time for the dance down and to see Maddy floor burn her knee on the gym floor. She almost decided not to participate because it hurt so bad but being the tough little thing she is she decided to dance through the pain!! She was in the 6-8 category again and the youngest one out there; so they taught them their little dance and then they made them dance their little hearts out over and over again. When it was all said and done Maddy came away with Second Place!! She was so excited and so proud of herself and really happy she decided to dance. She loved showing everyone her medal and having everyone tell her great job. Grandma Lori, Grandpa Bob, Grandpa Lou, and Ty and Kira made it in time for the team competition. Our cute little dancers did an awesome job and took first in both their lyrical and their jazz. Their studio also got high point award for the competition. It was a great day and we are so proud of our little twinkle toes!!
