Finally!!

The kids were super excited last week when we finally got around to swapping out beds. They both got moved up to a bigger bed and are loving it. Greyson's won't get out of his unless he asks first even to get his drink or a dropped animal, it's pretty funny. They both look very little sleeping in their big beds at night. Greyson is getting sillier every day, one of his new things is saying "Sorry" for everything whether he was involved or if it's even something to be sorry about. He also started blaming Maddy for things by saying "Sister started it" when they are having a squabble. He's also started saying "In a second" when you ask him to do something. He's so darn cute and mischievous you can't help but smile at him even when he's doing something he shouldn't be. Maddy is learning to read and is loving putting letters together and discovering the wonderful world of books. Maddy (meaning me) is also selling Gold Canyon candles for a fundraiser for dance. So if anyone wants any yummy candles let us know!!

The kids are eagerly anticipating the holiday season and broke out the Santa hats even before Halloween. Maddy was excited to hear that their elves showed up this week to keep an eye on them and keep Santa updated on their behavior. Greyson is not so sure about elves but keep saying "Ho Ho bring me cho chos and cars". The kids were also very excited when Santa called last night with an idea for a present to see what Mom and Dad thought about it. Maddy has been trying to guess ever since what Santa thought would be a good present for them and also delighted in the fact Santa called and talked to Daddy. We are all excited for the holiday season and the wonderful time of year it is.

The kids are missing Brandon he's in Utah at a seminar for the rest of the week so we are having Daddy withdrawals. Bedtime was not so much fun and Maddy is even more emotional if that is possible. The kids are counting down to Sunday and look forward to his nightly calls. We miss him but know he is having fun and learning lots.

I am so glad that someone besides us has gotten into the holiday spirit! Gracee keeps telling me that if she had a bigger bed like mine she would sleep through the night. I am not falling for it though:)
