Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had such a great holiday and we love being able to spend it with the people we love. It's always nice to take time and reflect on how truly blessed we are. We have so much to be grateful for and sometimes it's easier to focus on what we want instead of realizing how much we really have. So I'm always grateful for a holiday to specifically think about all that we have. This is one of my favorite quotes and I try everyday (not always well, but I try) to live it and to teach our children to have an "Attitude of Gratitude".

" This is a wonderful time to be living here on earth. Our opportunities are limitless. While there are some things wrong in the world today, there are many things right, such as teachers who teach, ministers who minister, marriages that make it, parents who sacrifice, and friends who help. We can lift ourselves, and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues." Thomas S. Monson

We started out the day by watching the parade which the kids loved. We have added it to our list of things we want to see in person.

Next we headed to St. Anthony for yummy food, football and lots of family fun!! Greyson and Grandpa Lou spent the afternoon roughhousing and playing ball and Maddy was Grandma's little helper but they did manage to sneak in a tea party.

Later that afternoon we headed back to Rigby for dessert, movies and fun games!! Mason has started walking and the kids got a kick out of him chasing them and him being able to keep up with them for the first time. It was also nice to have Tyler home and we got to play a way fun game. Next time the girls will beat the boys instead of just tying!!
