Playing Catch Up!!

Things have been pretty busy around here the last little bit. It seems with the arrival of the holidays that time starts to move even faster. We have slowly been getting the decorations up and finally finished this weekend. The kids have been loving every second of it and their excitement is contagious. Greyson is in awe and fascinated by everything and the rest of us are also loving the holiday season. I have been accused on multiple occasions of being OCD and a tree Nazi, if you will note in the picture things are not symmetrical and many of the lower branches have 3 to 4 ornaments each. It has been taking all my self control not to move it or even it out(yet, I will tonight when everyone is asleep). The kids really enjoyed decorating and were so proud of all they were able to help with.

On Friday the kids went with Uncle David and Aunt Jaime to the Christmas Parade and then later met Grandpa Lou and Grandma Cook for Midnight Madness shopping in the big city of Rigby. They went to the Old Sugar Mill and sat on Santa's lap and did a little shopping and then finished up by getting to play with Andie. They had a blast and we appreciated their help so much. While the kids were playing we were at the launch of Living on Purpose, Brandon and Zach's new company. It was a huge success and we are so proud of them. It was an amazing night and the start of great things for them. I'm so upset that I totally forgot my camera to document the momentous occasion.

Saturday night while I was running around crazily trying to finish a hundred little things before Zach and Holly and the kids showed up to celebrate the successful launch of Living on Purpose, there was an absolutely breathtaking sunset. It was so beautiful we all just stopped and enjoyed it. It was a gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy all of the wonderful things in life.

The kids are busy and silly as always. They can always find something to entertain themselves with. They keep us laughing and on our toes!! Maddy is learning a new dance for her christmas recital and can't wait to show it off. She is such a sweet girl and made sure to tell Brandon how proud she is of him and Zach. Greyson is a little nut and is always up to something. He had a blast running around with Brookie the other night, and they even let Maddy boss them around much to her delight.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with ocd's hehe. :) It looks great! It was a fun fun night, if only my camera wasn't on the blink, I could have documented for us! Darn. Yes, so proud of Zach & Brandon! We love you guys.

PS can I steal the pic of the sunset off your blog. :)

I sympathize with you on the tree---our trees are always a little bottom heavy on the ornaments with practically none on top. I guess it's the price you pay for letting the kids help. (I secretly fix it at night too.) Your kiddos are so cute!
