Merry Christmas!!

The kids actually slept in on Christmas morning, Maddy woke up a little after 8:00 and then we finally woke Greyson up at 8:30. They were very excited to see if Santa had made it, and eager to see if they had made the good list. Maddy was thrilled she got her fur berry, and Greyson loved his new Thomas set, and they were both completely surprised to find a mini quad had been left for them as well. Luckily Santa included a remote kill switch but he forgot the helmets so they only got to pretend to ride it. They loved everything they got and were very grateful then we spent the morning hanging out playing games and enjoying the new stuff. Maddy was quick to remind us of the reason we have Christmas and I have to admit it did make me proud when she told us how grateful she is for Jesus.






That afternoon we ventured out and found about 4 feet of new snow on the way to Jaime's. We enjoyed a yummy Christmas Dinner, great company, and of course more presents.






That night we headed to Robert and Lori's and enjoyed more great company and yummy pie. The kids had a blast playing with cousins all day long and we all had a great holiday. It was wonderful being with all of our loved ones, and enjoying all the aspects of this wonderful holiday. It was again a wonderful time to put things in perspective and remember how truly blessed we are.
