Christmas Eve!!

Christmas Eve at our house means the Mitchell Family Christmas party at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's. This year there was close to 60 people all squished in Grandma and Grandpa's house. They are so sweet and just love all the grand kids and great grand kids and really try to make it special for them. There's always yummy food (specifically grandma's biscuits), silly entertainment, and lots of presents.

On the way home we stopped at Jaime and David's and Grandma and Grandpa and Ken and Rena were over and we ended up visiting much later then we had planned. So when we finally left about 10:00 the kids were worried Santa was on his way and they wouldn't be asleep. Greyson kept telling Brandon to drive fast and hurry hurry, and Maddy wanted to go straight to bed without opening their Christmas Eve present and wanted us to put out the cookies for Santa. We managed to convince them they had time to open their new Christmas PJ's and to put out goodies for Santa and the Reindeer. Immediately after they went straight to bed and we didn't hear a peep for the rest of the night.
