Happy Birthday Jaime and Dad!!

This week we were able to get together as a family and celebrate birthdays, but I just wanted to take a second and tell them how much we love them.

It is very true that Jaime used to drive me bonkers when we were growing up (and her pregnancy has brought a few flashbacks of those days - just kidding) , but it is equally true that she has become one of my best friends. She's always there to talk or just for some girl time. It was so hard for me when she was living in California and we were all so ecstatic when she moved home. She is not only a wonderful sister but she is a fantastic aunt. She is going to be a great mom. The kids love her to pieces and love spending time with Jaime. We are so grateful that she lives only a few miles away and is so supportive and always there when we need her. This is one of my favorite pics that we took when she flew home to be with us when Greyson was born. We love you Jaime and hope you had a great birthday!!



We also celebrated Grandpa Lous 39th birthday for about the 14th time this week. We were all so grateful to have a healthy grandpa here with to celebrate another birthday. My dad is one of my heroes, he is such a good man and taught me so many things. From him I learned the value of hard work, honesty, and the importance of family. He also instilled in me the belief I could be or do anything in the world I wanted. He also always stressed the importance of trying my hardest and doing my best no matter what. He has always been there for me or us when we needed him. He loves us unconditionally and now being a mom I understand better just how much he does love us. I am still realizing on a daily basis just how much he knew when I thought I knew everything and had it all figured out. He is also an awesome Grandpa, the kids think he's great and they love to spend time with Lou. He's very supportive of us and all of our many activities, he rarely misses a ball game or a dance performance. His license plate for his new car even says "Gampa Lou", the kids thought that was pretty neat. Anyways, we love you to pieces Dad and are so glad you are such an important part of our lives.
