I'm not doing so good at keeping up the last little bit but things have been pretty quiet around here so I'll use that as my excuse. Maddy had another dance performance last weekend at Barnes and Noble. It was a pretty tight spot but they were adorable as always. We counted up all her performances and competitions for this dance year and after their recital they will have performed 14 times; usually both dances!! That is a lot of dancing, but she wouldn't have it any other way. At the bookstore they were having a fundraiser for a school and they happened to have their mascot there. It was a bulldog named Spike, even though it was a costumed dog both kiddo's were scared and ran the opposite of where ever it was. In Maddy's words "He freaked them out." If it wasn't so ridiculous it would have been funny.
This weekend was my sweet mom's birthday, we were lucky enough to surprise her at dinner and enjoy a nice night out celebrating. We love Grandma Cook and the sweet lady she is and all she does for us. We were so glad we got to help celebrate her birthday with her. We love you to pieces Mom!!
Sunday just before bed Grandma Lori and Grandpa Bob came over as well as Ty and Kira and their adorable new beagle puppy Copper. The kids were of course scared but they slowly started to sneak up and pet it when he wasn't looking as long as someone was holding him. Eventually Copper got tired and fell asleep and then they got really brave and were petting him while he was out. I of course had to document the momentous occasion who knows if it will ever happen again. I'm hoping we made some progress because they even petted him goodbye when they left and then couldn't stop talking about how cute he was. Copper is absolutely adorable and beagle's are my favorite dog so Ty and Kira better watch out or I might just have to "borrow" him!!

Looks like you have been having a good time. Maddy looks like such a good little dancer, and the dog. He is so cute. Tell you mom Happy late Birthday. I heard her name on the radio the morning of her birthday. That is fun you suprised her with dinner. Have a great week!!!

Oh my gosh, I also love beagles!! Christian keeps begging me for a puppy, they are the most cutest dogs and not being a dog lover I actually wouldn't mind getting a beagle I know that if we ever get one (maybe 3 more years the twins wont be such a handful, that can be my baby fix, a puppy hehe.) Tell ur mom happy b-day for me she so does not look 50!! ur mom looks great for her age. Love the pics! :)
