Memorial Weekend

I can't believe it's been a week since I posted. It's been a pretty quiet week, we have spent a little time outside in between the rain. Maddy was supposed to have her first t-ball practice this week. She couldn't wait and kept telling us "I'm so excited I can't sleep", she also asked Brandon if "She got to find out what color her costume is tomorrow?" She meant uniform and she was completely bummed when practice was rained out. Greyson is saying more and more everyday, sometimes it sounds like it's chinese but he's a little jabberbox in whatever language he's speaking. He's getting so big I can't believe my baby is turning into such a little boy. Saturday night Brandon and I went out with friends, and the kids stayed with Grandma Cookie and Grandpa Lou. They had a wonderful time with grandma and grandpa and we enjoyed dinner at Friday's (yummy cheesecake) and the new Indiana Jones movie (?). Tomorrow we will go visit the cemeteries. Memorial day is always a little difficult remembering the wonderful people who are only with us in spirit now. However, I am grateful for a day to reflect and remember those who have passed on and I'm so grateful for this wonderful country and the brave men and women who have ensured it's freedom throughout the years.
