T-ball practice and Picnics

So in between rainstorms this week, Maddy has had her first two T-ball practices. She is really loving it and is pretty darn good in my own biased opinion. She is the most aggressive of the girls by far and can even give some of the boys a run for their money. She was excited to find out her uniform is red because it matches her bat. Practice has been a little chilly and we are excited for warmer weather. Watching practice is amusing to say the least, it is complete chaos. The first night Maddy got a line drive to the face but she's a tough little girl and only cried for a second before getting back out there. So far she hasn't picked dandelions or been dancing in the field, instead she runs and slides to get the ball even if it's clear across the field. Next week she has two games and she is so excited, it should be interesting. Greyson so badly wanted to go out and play with the big kids he was really sad when he couldn't follow sister out to the field. Brandon somewhat made up for it by playing ball with him on the side.




Maddy was also ecstatic to learn she is getting another new cousin this year. Jaime and David are expecting their first child on Dec. 25th. Maddy has been wanting more cousins so she is excited for Joldy's little girl to get her in July and then she's hoping for a boy from Jaime in Dec. Greyson is less then impressed and doesn't think anyone should have babies he just says "No, Baby!". With the exception of Greyson we are all very excited and happy for them.

We haven't been able to get outside as much as we would like because of our somewhat unpredictable weather so we had a indoor picnic yesterday. We also made a cake and the kids had fun helping. Greyson really likes to crack the eggs, luckily I think I got all the shells out. He's so funny everything is "Wait, Mommy", "Go, Mommy", or "Ready, Mommy". The kids were a big help as always and we are having fun but we are patiently waiting for the weather to stay warm for good so we can catch some sun.
