Today on this beautiful spring day (not) it's my mom's birthday. I won't say how young the birthday girl is but, Happy Birthday Mom. We are grateful for her optimism and her perpetual happiness. She is a great example of always having a positive attitude and finding the good in everyone. She is a wonderful mother and an amazing grandma and we are so glad she's ours. We love you Mom.
Yesterday I had achievement days again and the girls did a talent show for their families. It turned out nice, but the real fun happened earlier when we were making cookies for the big show. I have two fabulous sous chefs.
Greyson was very impatient for the cookies to be done, and less then thrilled if any batter sprayed him. We tried a new recipe, Cream Cheese Cookies and they were super yummy.
I also caught this random act of affection the other day and thought it was super sweet. He also gave her a very big hug but I didn't quite catch it.
