Jefferson Stampede

This last weekend was really busy but lots of fun. On Friday Maddy participated in a little cheer clinic. The clinic ran from 10 to 3, with a parents performance right after. I was worried because it was so long of a day, but she had a blast and did her little cheer and dance for us at the end and was asking when she could do it again. Right after that we went to Grandma Lori and Grandpa Bob's so he could help Brandon change the brakes on the car. While the boys worked on the car Maddy helped Grandma plant flowers. She was very particular about their placement and made sure they each got their own drink after they were planted.

Greyson watched them work on the car in between running from bees and flies

That night we took the kids to their first rodeo. They enjoyed themselves and all the goodies from the concession stand. Greyson liked the baby cows, and laughed hysterically at the bull riding. He thought it was the funniest thing and started cracking up anytime they came out of the shoot. Maddy was concerned about the calf's during the calf roping and steer wrestling but her favorite part was the junior posse performing with all their horses. It was really funny because one of the boys lost his horse and the horse refused to let him back on. The horse continued and finished the routine without his rider. We were glad Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Jam could enjoy the rodeo with us.

Saturday morning we all went to the Jefferson Stampede parade. As part of the cheer clinic Maddy got to walk and perform in the parade. She loved it, she walked with a huge smile on her face and waved to everyone. Greyson enjoyed the parade and all the candy he got. After the parade we went to the park and played on the jumpy toys and the kids rode the little train. Maddy's said it was pretty bumpy but lots of fun and Greyson kept yelling "Wahoo". It was a great couple of days and we all had lots of fun spending time together and making memories. Up next is our Father's Day post.
