Busy, Busy

I can't believe how quickly these gorgeous summer days are flying bye. We have been loving this weather and are taking full advantage of them. Last weekend we drove over to Alpine with Grandma Lori and Grandpa Bob to get some good fireworks. The drive was gorgeous and Palisades is really full. On the way back of course we stopped for square ice cream.



Monday we played at the park and then for family home evening we took the kids miniature golfing. They had a blast and as you can imagine it was beyond amusing. Greyson would putt at the start of the hole and then throw it the rest of the way until it was close to the hole and then he would putt again. He called his club his "putt". Maddy was pretty good and was very excited when she had a good hole. I really wish I would have had my camera because their were some really funny moments.

Tuesday morning I found this, Greyson thought it was so funny he had put glitter all over his face.



That afternoon we broke out the kids swimming pool and the silly sprinklers and the kids had fun playing in the water, until it was time for t-ball.

Maddy takes dance and gymnastics across from the river in Idaho Falls. So on Wednesday after class we walked over and fed the ducks.




We had a lot of fun and the kids weren't even scared of the ducks this time, we're slowly making progress on animals I think.

Thursday we met Liz and the girls at the splash park. It was a little breezy so they didn't play as long as they usually do but they still had fun.






That night was Maddy's last t-ball game and she loved her trophy and I think she has convinced her daddy that he needs to be her coach next year so she's pretty excited about that as well. Overall I think it was a good experience for her but I don't think she's completely sold on the baseball thing. Greyson on the other hand can't wait to be big enough to play ball.



Friday we met Brittany and her boys at the playground and the kids had fun playing while we had fun catching up. Friday night we took the kids to dinner at our favorite restaurant Fridays. After dinner we took the kids to the new disney movie Walle. Dinner was good the movie not so much, but it was still a nice family night.
