Summer Fun

It seems like this year is just flying, I can't believe it's the middle of June already. In spite of the weather we are staying busy and enjoying our summer. Brandon told Maddy it was supposed to warm up this week and she looked at him and said "Dad, what if they're wrong?" We explained that one of beautiful Idaho's funny quirks is the array of weather at any given time. Tuesdays and Thursdays we are busy with T-ball and Wednesday is gymnastics. Some days it seems like we run a lot but we are enjoying our summer and all of it's activities.

Brandon has been coaching Maddy's team this week and has done a great job. I know it's been a big change from what he's used to, but the kids are listening and actually getting outs and hitting better each game. Can you see his little assistant coach wanting so badly to be big enough to play.


We went to lunch this week with Liz, Gracee, and Emme. We went to my favorite restaurant Gringo's and the kids were so excited to see each other and had fun mugging for the camera. Greyson has learned a cheesy smile and that's what I get most of the time when I take his picture now.



Our next stop was the Cocoa Bean, a really cute little cupcake shop. They have all different kinds, we didn't know which ones to try they all looked so yummy. Maddy picked the Grasshopper and it was really sweet. Greyson and I shared a Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake one. Emme and Gracee had a Raspberry Lemonade one. They were really yummy, but the kids had even more fun on the swivel stools.


Then we hit the grocery store where the kids had fun in the carts, it's always nice to get together with friends, we had a blast and can't wait to play again.
