Dear Maddy,

Today sweet girl, it is so hard to believe that you are six years old. Time has passed so quickly, it seems not so long ago we received the wonderful news that finally after what seemed so long we were being blessed with our own little angel. When they finally placed you in our arms was one of the best days of our lives. We were overwhelmed with the strong emotions and immediate and unbreakable love we felt for you. These past years have flown by with you bringing so much joy and laughter to our lives. You have such a tender and sweet spirit, and a strong concern for those around you. You find or make friends wherever you go, and love any chance to socialize. You strive and try your very hardest in whatever you are pursuing. It brings us so much joy to see you glow with the pride of your accomplishments. You are doing wonderfully in school and enjoy it very much, you love learning and sharing what you know. In dance you light up the stage when you perform, and make it look so fun and easy. In our home you are a wonderfully kind and caring daughter and sister. Your little brother loves you so much and looks up to you in all you do. Regardless of the location you find someone or something to mother and tend to. You have a very tender heart that sometimes gets easily hurt but makes you even more sensitive to those around you. You would rather do something you don't want to then to chance hurting someone's feelings. Your sweet and caring personality make you endearing to all of your family. You are funny, loveable, and very strong-willed. You love to be a girly girl and shop and dress-up but can wrestle and play t-ball with the toughest boy. You embrace and love whatever you are doing at the time, your infectious laugh and fun personality make every day an adventure. We can't imagine life without you and are so grateful we get to claim you as our beautiful, sweet little girl. As hard as it is for me to watch you grow so quickly, we are so proud of the sweet little girl you are and look forward to watching you grow into an amazing young woman.
