Ty and Kira's Big Day!!

This week has been so busy with so much happening. I started and finished my blurb book for 2008 and we are so excited to see it. It was much bigger then I thought it would be since I love to take so many pictures but it will be such a great permanent record of our daily life and special memories.
On Tuesday night we got to be with Tyler and Kira in the temple when she took out her endowments. We were so glad we got to be with them as they took such an important step in starting their new lives together.
Wednesday we spent the day helping Jaime do the flowers for the wedding. It was a very big job (19 boutonnières, 10 corsages, 3 bridesmaid flowers, and 1 bouquet) but they turned out great and Jaime did a great job as always. Kira loved her bouquet and everything turned out beautifully.
Thursday was the big day and they were married first thing that morning. Thank goodness for Jaime this week she saved me on numerous occasions with watching the kiddo's, chauffeuring, helping with hair, and of course the flowers. We are so grateful for her and all of her help. It was very cold and taking pictures outside of the temple was a frigid event!! We then warmed up at the luncheon, which was later followed by more pictures and the reception. It was a jammed packed day but such a wonderful one. We got lots of great pictures and as you can tell from some of them Greyson was very done with the whole picture thing by the time the day was over. Maddy loved dancing and playing with her cousins and she loved being big and helping get presents. Her dress turned out amazing and she and I both just loved it. Greyson made a new little friend and at one point came and asked Brandon "Dad, what's my name?" Brandon told him Greyson and he said "Oh, thanks" and ran back to playing. It was pretty funny; I guess he just needed reminded when his new friend asked!?! Greyson loved playing on the bridge and in the fountain, and anything not involving pictures, and looked adorable in his little suit. Skyler also was pretty funny it had been a long day and the kids were all a little antsy so his mom told him to sit down and be a good boy, he looked at her and said "I'm not Greyson" it was hilarious we were all cracking up. It was a wonderful day and they had lots of friends and family to share in their day. We were so glad to be a part of it and Tyler and Kira are the cutest couple and are completely smitten with each other. Kira is the sweetest little thing and we all just love her. We are so happy she is officially part of the family. We love them so much and are so happy for them and their new life together.
