Maddy's Birthday Party!!

Sunday night we had Maddy's big family bash to celebrate her 6th birthday. She had been very anxious for the big day to finally arrive. This year she wanted a Fairy party and we managed to find an adorable cake to match the theme. Everyone who lives close by was able to make it. We love having so much family around and it made for a full house. We did miss Nutsy and Erica and wish they could have been here. Miss Maddy was beyond thrilled with all of her presents and loved everything she got. She made the comment "They know me so well", and indeed they do. She got lots of Hannah, and HSM 3, fairies, princesses, jewelry, and littlest pet shop stuff. As well as the randomly requested mp3 player, pixos thing, and sleeping mask. She has been having a blast playing with everything and Greyson can't wait for his turn in a week or so. It was a great night, Greyson was shockingly (not) being a little tease which resulted in Uncle Joldy putting him up on top of the cabinets, he also had fun playing with all his cousins. The headphones for Maddy's mp3 are a little big for her ears, so Aunt Kira showed her how to keep them on so now even inside she's got her hat on. She is a little disgruntled I won't let her take her "ipod" to school and doesn't think it's fair the big kids on the bus get to,(ahh growing pains)!! The kids all had lots of fun and we loved having everyone over to celebrate and share in her big day. We can't wait to do it again soon!!
