Today after dance and preschool the weather was nice enough for us to head over to the lake. Maddy rides her bike and we walk or I push Greyson in the stroller and we usually go around a couple of times. The kids were so excited to be outside, it was still a little cold and we had to push through the snow in a few spots but it was so nice to be outside finally. Jaime had the day off so she went with us, and then on the way home we stopped and got ice cream. Here's hoping that spring is here for good.
The kids have been so funny this week. After Maddy registered for Kindergarten Brandon was asking her how she did on her little test and she told him "I passed out" I told her no, that she had passed and passing out is when you faint. She looked at me disdainfully and in her I'm 5 going on 21 voice told me "I don't know what you're talking about."
Greyson's new favorite phrase is "Aww Man" and he even moves his arm like he's snapping or saying dang it. It's really cute. He's also started saying things are "disgusting" it sounds adorable in his little voice.
We are also getting ready for Maddy's dance competition this weekend. She is so excited she loves dancing and she thinks performances are the best. It also doesn't hurt that there are trophies involved. On that note here is a picture of her in her very shiny "Mellow Yellow" costume with her newest trophy.
I have also been trying my hand at digital scrapbooking. I'm so anal and such a perfectionist that it takes me forever until it's even somewhat close to what I think looks okay, but here are some of the pages I've been working on.

Your pages look awesome! I'm glad Maddie will be wearing her "mellow yellow" costume this weekend- Its so cute and bright I won't miss her! Today WAS a great day to be outside. Todd and I spent all day at a farm auction - it was great to spend a whole day in the sun! See you saturday!
